Aerial view of Palomino Island and Icacos — two-island charter day from Fajardo
Charter Add-On · From $200

Visit Palomino + Icacos in One Day

Two anchorages, two beaches, twice the swim spots. Upgrade your Fajardo charter to hit both islands in one trip — best done on a 6-hour charter.

Why Two Islands
More Variety in the Same Day
Palomino and Icacos are completely different vibes. Palomino has a long sandy beach with palm trees and shallow calm water. Icacos is a wild uninhabited cay with a sandbar and reef. Doing both in one trip gives you the best of each — with the boat as your private "shuttle" between them.
Stop 1Palomino Island aerial — long beach, palm trees, calm water
🌴 Palomino Island
20 min from Fajardo · Long beach · Calm anchorage
A larger island with a long white-sand beach lined with coconut palms. The water stays shallow far out, which makes it the safest swim and the most family-friendly anchorage. Most groups start here for breakfast, swim, and warm up the day.

Stop 2Cayo Icacos aerial — uninhabited cay with sandbar and reef
🏝 Cayo Icacos
15 min from Fajardo · Sandbar · Coral reef
An uninhabited cay with a turquoise sandbar and a live coral reef on the windward side. Best for snorkeling, photos, and a more "deserted island" feel. Many groups eat lunch here while anchored on the sandbar.

FAQ
Two-Island Day Questions
How does the two-island upgrade work?
Instead of anchoring at one beach for the full charter, the captain runs you to both Palomino Island and Cayo Icacos with separate anchor stops at each. Most groups split the time roughly 50/50 across the two islands.
How much does the two-island add-on cost?
$200 for groups of up to 6 guests, $400 for groups of up to 12 guests. The fee covers the extra fuel, captain time, and anchorage required for the second island stop. Billed together with your boat charter — no separate transactions.
What's the minimum charter length for two islands?
A 6-hour charter is the sweet spot — enough time for two solid anchor stops, lunch on the boat, and swimming at both islands. 4-hour charters can technically do it, but you'll feel rushed. 8-hour charters give you the most relaxed pace.
Which two islands are included?
Palomino Island (the long beach with palm trees) and Cayo Icacos (uninhabited cay with sandbar and reef). Both are reached from Fajardo. Other combinations like Culebra + Culebrita or Vieques + Icacos are available as custom day trips with their own quote.
Which boats work best for a two-island day?
Any boat in our Fajardo fleet works. Most popular for two-island days: Grady White 38, Stamas 42, Schaefer 45, Lagoon 48 catamaran, Sunseeker 60. The catamaran in particular is great because of the shaded saloon for the cruise between islands. See the full Fajardo fleet.
Can I add jet skis or BBQ to the two-island day?
Yes — every charter add-on stacks. Most popular two-island combos: BBQ Onboard ($250+) at one of the islands, Jet Ski Rental ($199/hr) at the second stop, and Seabob ($295) anywhere with clear water. WhatsApp us and we'll bundle.
What if the weather is rough?
Captain's call. If conditions don't allow safely anchoring at both, we'll either anchor at the calmer of the two for the full charter (and refund the add-on fee) or reschedule. Safety always wins. Weather cancellations are full refund or reschedule.
