Private yacht charters from Puerto del Rey & Villa Marina. 10 boats from 27ft to 82ft, all-inclusive — captain, fuel, food & drinks. Just 15 minutes from Icacos & Palomino, with day trips to Culebra, Culebrita, and Vieques.
Fajardo sits on the northeast tip of Puerto Rico — and it's no accident that nearly every serious charter operator on the island keeps a fleet here. The east coast is sheltered by a chain of small cays, the water turns Caribbean-blue within minutes of leaving the marina, and the run to Cayo Icacos or Palomino Island is a calm 15 minutes.
From Fajardo, you're also positioned for longer day trips most of the rest of the island can't reach: Culebra and Flamenco Beach (60–90 min), Culebrita with its lighthouse and Tortuga Beach, and Vieques with its wild horses and undeveloped beaches (about 75 min).
Whether you want a 27ft center console for a small family day, a Lagoon catamaran for 12 friends, or an 82ft Sunseeker for a milestone celebration, our Fajardo fleet has the right boat for the day — and a captain who actually knows where to drop anchor.
Fajardo is about 50 minutes to an hour east of San Juan by car — a straight shot down PR-26, then PR-66 (the toll road), then PR-3 into Fajardo proper. Most of the drive is highway and signed clearly for both Puerto del Rey and Villa Marina.
If you're staying in Old San Juan, Condado, Isla Verde, or near the airport (SJU), you'll cross the bay bridge in the photo before heading east. We recommend leaving your hotel 2 hours before your charter — we ask all guests to be at the marina 30 minutes before departure so the captain can finish loading and brief the trip.
Don't want to drive? We offer optional roundtrip transportation from any San Juan-area hotel for $40 per person. Just ask when you book and we'll line up the driver, who picks you up an hour before departure and brings you back at the end of the day.
Every Fajardo charter comes loaded. The price you see at booking is the price you pay — no fuel surcharges, no service fees, no surprise extras at the dock. The only decision you'll make once you're on the boat is which beach to anchor at first.
Our captains are USCG-licensed, born-and-raised in Fajardo or San Juan, and know the reefs, anchorages, and shortcuts that off-island captains don't. The mate handles the food, the cooler, the swim ladder, and the snorkel gear so you and your group can actually relax.
