What is a Seabob?
The Underwater Jet Made for the Caribbean

The Seabob is a luxury underwater scooter built by German manufacturer Cayago — the same brand you've seen on superyachts in Monaco and St. Barts. We bring it to Puerto Rico as an add-on to our private charters.

Imagine snorkeling, but instead of kicking, you're being pulled effortlessly through the water at up to 13 mph. You can glide along the surface, dive down 30 feet, weave through coral, chase fish, or just float on top with the engine humming. Six power levels — beginners on level 1, comfortable riders on level 3, adrenaline lovers on level 6.

It's the most-requested add-on on our boats, especially with bachelorette groups, milestone birthdays, and anyone who wants the day to feel like a private vacation video.

Effortless gliding on the surface and underwater. No swimming required — the Seabob does the work.

Crystal-Clear Reefs

Best at Icacos, Palomino, and Culebra — visibility 50+ feet on a calm day. You'll see fish, coral, and rays you'd miss while snorkeling.

GoPro-Ready

Mount a GoPro to the Seabob's camera mount and bring home the kind of footage that turns into your favorite vacation memory.

6 Power Levels

Start slow on level 1 to learn the controls. Most guests are confidently riding on level 3-4 within 15 minutes. Level 6 is full send.

🤿
Snorkel + Scuba Friendly

Use it on the surface with a snorkel, or freedive with it down to 130 feet (certified divers). Most guests stay shallow for the visibility.

FAQ
Seabob Questions, Answered
What is a Seabob?
A Seabob is a luxury underwater scooter (also called a jet seascooter) made by the German manufacturer Cayago. It's a powerful, electric, hand-held water sled that propels you forward — both on the surface and underwater — letting you glide through the water like a dolphin without using any of your own energy.
How fast does a Seabob go?
Our Seabobs reach speeds up to 13 mph (20 km/h) on the surface and around 8 mph underwater. There are 6 power levels — beginners start on level 1 and most guests are comfortable on level 3 or 4 within minutes.
How deep can I go with a Seabob?
The Seabob F5 SR is rated to 40 meters (130 feet) of depth. For our charter day, most riders stay within 3 to 6 meters because that's where the best snorkeling visibility is, but the Seabob can handle deeper exploration if you're a certified diver.
Do I need to be a strong swimmer?
Basic swimming ability is enough. The Seabob has a built-in buoyancy system that keeps it floating when you let go, and we provide a flotation vest. The captain runs you through a 5-minute orientation before you get in the water.
Is the Seabob safe for kids?
Riders need to be at least 12 years old, comfortable in the water, and able to swim. Younger kids can be towed in the water alongside a parent on the Seabob — they love it.
How long does the battery last?
About 60 to 90 minutes of continuous riding per charge depending on power level. Most guests don't ride continuously — they take turns, snorkel between rides, and rest on the boat — so a single Seabob easily covers a full charter day for a group of 4 to 6.
How much does it cost to add a Seabob to my charter?
Pricing is custom and depends on how many Seabobs you want, the length of the charter, and the boat you've booked. Discounts apply for booking 2 or more. Message us on WhatsApp at 787-717-3779 with your charter details and we'll send a quote within minutes.
Can I rent a Seabob without booking a charter?
The Seabob is offered as an add-on to our private charters only — it's not available as a stand-alone rental from shore. The reason is simple: a Seabob is a serious piece of equipment and we want a captain on the water with you. Book any of our charters from Fajardo or San Juan and add a Seabob to the day.
What should I bring?
Your swimsuit and a sense of adventure. We provide the Seabob, flotation vest, snorkel gear, and a brief orientation. If you have a GoPro, bring it — there's a mount on the Seabob and the underwater footage is incredible.

One Day. One Seabob. Unforgettable.

It's the kind of experience your group will be talking about a year from now. Send us your charter details and we'll send a quote — usually within minutes.
